Spring Flowers in Maine
Just a little spring joy in the midst of these cold December days. Booth Bay Harbor, Maine, Botanical Gardens is the setting. If you have never had the opportunity to go stay on the ocean do. Hubs, college buds, and I went May 2010. We rented a house thru VRBO. The 100 year old house was on a buff directly on the Atlantic. Sitting in the living room watching lobster killers pull up their catch was delightful.
We indulged in whole lobster, lobster rolls, halibut fingers, and crab cakes. Oh, my surprise was to end up at two resturants visited by Bobby Flay and Guy Fieri. I am such a nerd that I took my picture with their pictures on the walls.
Goodness, I'm glad I no longer have this due.
